1. He bought his first share at age 11 years and now he regrets that he was too late to start.
- Everything is very cheap at that time, ask your child for real investment early on.
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 from his small savings derived from delivering newspapers.
- Surely we can buy anything from a small savings, ask your child to start a business and diligent saving.
3. Until recently he was still living in a small house with 3 bedrooms in Omaha, which he bought after marriage 50 years ago. He says already has everything he needs in that house. The house did not have a fence.
- Do not buy anything more than that ‘we really need’, and encourage your child to always think and act like it.
4. He drove his own car and do not have drivers or security guards accompanying them.
- Just be yourself.
5. He never went by private jet, although he has the largest private jet company in the world!
- Always think how you can do things economically.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, has 60 companies. Buffett writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them targets to be achieved in that year. He also never meeting or call them on a regular basis.
