Pragmatic Financial Institution
Esbozábamos space in our previous Mercantile College Canary Expert was founded May 15, 1908 and, after several amendments had become what it is today in the Official College of Commercial and Business at Santa Cruz Tenerife (Cotime), chaired by Antonio Pérez Viera which, in turn, replaced Benito Rodriguez Regalado, under whose auspices was published “The 90 years of Cotime”, volume CajaCanarias generously sponsored by and written by our colleague Antonio Salgado Perez which is now preparing another book, “100 years of Cotime. Remembrances of the Business School, also sponsored by the aforementioned and pragmatic financial institution.
On February 1, 1939, and by resolution of the leadership of Technical Vocational Education, with the authorization of the Ministry of Education approved the transfer of the Business School, from its temporary headquarters on Calle Viera y Clavijo, in the Palacio Municipal, the Seri Imeldo Institute building, located in the street Twenty-five of July, of this capital.
Neoclassical mansion
In this beautiful neo-classical mansion (Imeldo donation Seri-Granier and White from 1848 to 1904), read Villasegura Marquis also designed by the architect Manuel Cruz Chamber and the former School of Commerce had, for over thirty years, its height . Business School and the School of Industrial Design
Today it has inaugurated the Hotel School of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, near the Business School and the School of Industrial Design are located in the new building of the IFE (Institute for Business Education).
The interest of making the Spanish capital as a benchmark for national and international cuisine is reflected, in addition to the many initiatives in the new School of Hospitality of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce will contribute to promoting professionalism in the hospitality and consequently on the quality of tourist service.
The courses provided by schools in the IFE cover diplomas, or masters graduate programs, advanced courses, vocational training, continuing education and training courses, seminars on time, etc., We shall soon know the specific training for the hospitality industry.
